Simple but beautiful things in life are not far away but sometimes feel out of reach. Our musical journey has been intended as a way to travel deeply into our heart to hear its music. In our journey, we discover and connect with unknown images and express them through music and limb. It is like the shadow created by the outline of a paper-cut, expressing life through the light. We create the image through darkness and light. 'Adingu, from the language of Amis (Pangcah), means “shadow” and it also means “soul”. Through the light, we see the deepest part of the soul, it is the mystery of longing for our true home and the realization that we are already there. Join us in a creative celebration as we share our journey with you!

“ With heart, and feet, and through listening we travel to the light.” – Shimmer Plan Banai and Vicky started the journey on Feb. 2013. During this 4-and-half-month trip, they traveled around the island and performed with the cajon and guitar in exchange for accommodation. They lived close to the earth and shared with many, lifting them towards a joyful flying experience of life. They will continue their spirit of sharing in 2014. It may be a song, a story, a bowl of soup or even just a word of goodbye… Let us hear the story, share the story and create the story continuously!

Jing Production was formed by a group of theatre workers who are not Jing Ju actors but passionate and enthusiastic in it. “Jing” refers to Beijing Opera. “Production” represents “theatre production” and the act of “producing.” Jing Production aims to create fine, experimental, and fun works of Beijing Opera.

Suana, a name means garlic in Amis, he’s a man who also has a nick name called ‘Lee Da Mao’. It says that he’s a genius Amis musician, has lots of creations and won had won three Golden Melody Awards in his 30s, in a low profile of course. CMO, an orchestra band with vocal music. The group now has ten members: a half of Amis and a half of Taiwanese. Due to this special combination, they find their own way to create a music which has two different bloods in it. CMO had won ‘the Music of Music’ award in 2013 Taipei Fringe Festival.

They left their family, and came to our homeland to take care of our family (or became a part of our family). They take up the responsibility that we may not be able to take in this micro-society with nuclear families. They work, they laugh, and they are tough. They are women on the Island. Together, we 5 actresses, are using【monologue X body movements】to present you the stories of foreign house maids. It’s never easy to work so hard as laborers in another country. On Stage is going to show maids’ stories and their strength within it.

On Stage, we care, we share, we love and we act. OS started from 2012, as a drama X dance workshop. We hope more people can come in contact with the art of theatre and performance, and have chance to stand on stage. During 2013's Taipei Fringe Festival, we had our first production, Chen,Yu-Lan, which tackled the issue of community demolition at the hands of the government as it relates to urban renewal projects. This year, we have a second production based the lives of foreign maid’s living in Taiwan. Our world needs a change, and we on stagers act on it by performing on the stage.

performers, including Santana, to revive the club to its former glory. However, Louis
found out that this time Santana reincarnated as a male.

The first act is coming; will Louis succeed in
calling up Santana and so reunite with her in this life?"

Our education, told us to become good kids, good students and so on. Therefore we are familiar with the obedience necessary to endure patiently and to sink down. But by contrast, are our educators and society also abiding by these same rules? When the rules we are taught are clearly not reflected in the reality of modern society, must we continue to persisting as good students? We always believe that school is a microcosm of society. When too many things in school aren't properly valued, the passing of generations will give birth to a viscious circle.

In ancient Greece there was the Ampitheatre. After the invention of Modern Drama, black box performance began to appear. No matter what kind of theatre is used, the purpose of theatre is to bring people together. As the saying goes, “A newborn ‘monkey’ is not afraid of the tiger”, their brains are as agile as their limbs. Unafraid of the tiger, they prance and dance forward with skins of steel and arms of apes, fueled on by the fiery passion that burns through their veins. Let’s dance in Gorilla funk.

Transmigration

An girl with amnesia is reincarnated. Infinite wandering amongst incessant pain and the most fundamental of human sin: "The Seven Deadly Sins". One show, an audience, and the process of challenging the conceptions of seeing and being seen in close-up performances. Performed a total of more than 40 times, this piece has been widely praised by teachers and students.

What are cities? Cities are conglomerates of peoples and places, networks of relationships that often hide but at times reveal. We cannot claim to know the city until we move beyond its surfaces, entering the cracks of walls, wandering through the edges of lights and shadows and darkness. The Landscape Theatrics troupe explores the city through multiple senses, captures urban imageries through multimedia, and retells the poetics of cities through the voices of the underground dwellers of the cities, though their subaltern screams.
